Small bar, but well-stocked

The repurposed original bar was relocated from the corner of the hotel to become the main bar in the centre of the building.

The glycol beer system ensures there is no problem with the supply of icy cold beers.

All the usual fare of a public bar – beer, wine, spirits – but with the addition of finer wines, international beers, and new spirits.

The original bar is still in evidence

the front VJ panels and some of the under bar timber structure are original
VJs have been restored and repainted the original colour
in line with modern standards, the bar top has been replaced with impervious materials, and
the bar work area is now stainless steel

Other bibs and bobs about the bar

a glycol beer system working from a new cold room has replaced the old poorly functioning cold room
old cold room is still in the lounge – with a new purpose
beer is served from the taps on the bar not directly from a cold room
chairs at the bar are from the old Pokies room
